Claimio's Xero integration is a built-in connection that automatically exports approved business expense claims from the Claimio app into Xero accounting software, eliminating manual data entry.

How it works

Once connected, Claimio syncs your approved expense claims to Xero automatically. Every approved claim appears in Xero with the merchant name, amount, category, date, and a link to the receipt image — ready for your accountant to reconcile.

  1. Employee scans a receipt in Claimio — AI fills in the details automatically
  2. Admin reviews and approves the claim in-app
  3. Approved claim exports to Xero with full detail and receipt attachment
  4. Stripe processes the reimbursement directly to the employee

  • Merchant name and description
  • Amount and currency (GBP)
  • Expense category (mapped to your Xero chart of accounts)
